Total service hours: 10

For this month I continued to do service with Tulane Brain Institute. I participated in tabling their Bookfest for a couple of hours, and I did the same for the STEM fest. When tabling, I taught children about neurons and helped them make a model one. Seeing how some children get so excited to learn about the brain was so rewarding. I also hope to start volunteering for New Orleans rescue mission more than I did last semester. However, overall, the modules this month were very interesting since I majored in psychology and neuroscience in college. It is bittersweet to see the semester end since I feel as if we just started.
